The Anxiety, Behavior, and Cognition lab at Southern Illinois University is dedicated to increasing our understanding of the development, maintenance, and treatment of anxiety and anxiety disorders.
More specifically, we are interested in (1) studying the developmental psychopathology of anxiety and worry in children, (2) understanding attentional deficits underpinning worry, rumination, and other forms of repetitive negative thinking, (3) integrating technology and web based applications into the assessment and treatment of anxiety and (4) examining treatment effectiveness and novel treatment interventions for anxiety and mood symptoms.
ABC CONNECT: Future Volunteers Registry We would like to invite you to take part in our future volunteers registry. The purpose of the registry is to create a list of people adults (age 18 or older) who may want to participate in future studies through the ABC Research Lab. Your registration enables us to contact you about additional studies in the future. Participation is voluntary. If you choose to participate, it will take approximately 10 additional minutes of your time today. To find out more about the registry and/or register today, click here.
